Sausage Fingers

Did anyone else realise how damn difficult songwriting can be? Thankfully Ben’s got most of the lyrics under control, though some references to a certain wanker in my RL might be discerned from some of them – my input scares me. I mostly take care of the actual musical side, mind you, and I really need to stop myself from making guitar parts you’d need 23 fingers the size of sausages to manage. And keyboard parts that you need to be on speed to keep up with.

I haven’t posted on here for a while. All I can say is – wow, the last few weeks have been busy. Adrian’s back, which is weird and awesome all at once. Call me old fashioned, but I was used to the tradition of once you’re dead, you stay that way. It’s awesome though, apart from her cold I haven’t seen Tash this happy for months. Phoenixia’s a little… odd, though. More so than usual, I mean. She didn’t even want to come out the other night when I was all revved up ready to go exploring the immortal-only bars again – I can’t get in by myself!

Leonard is particularly pissed off at the moment, I have to say. We’ve banned him from band practices because he keeps leaping on Shirley when she’s trying to drum. If he loses any more organs he’ll have to go on life support and I really don’t think Val wants him hanging around…

Bit of a uselessly disjointed blog post I know, but I’m exhausted. I’ve never been in a band before and it takes up a lot of time – not that I’m complaining of course, it’s awesome and so much fun!

At least my hangover’s gone now. RL night out was FUN. One of my ankles is now twice the size of the other one though and walking isn’t fun – nobody make me go on any missions, please. I really wouldn’t be of any use! I think the extreme quantities of alcohol has fucked up my immune system too and let a cold in – I can’t stop sneezing. Baah.

I’m going to storm off and be grumpy now.

Everyone: Beware

Just to let everyone know…

I will be turning 21 on Monday. On Saturday I will be spending the night getting hammered and dancing on various podiums in various bars and clubs with my friends in RL. However I will probably be alone on my actual birthday so expect to see a figure staggering around the Library corridors, swaying slightly and clutching a bottle of vodka while insulting everyone who crosses my path.

…either that or you’ll all want to stay within about forty feet of the Den of Sin at all times. Just saying…

Quick Note…

Before I have to dash back to Real Life, has anyone seen the key to the Den of Sin? I could have sworn I had it on a chain around my neck but it seems to be… gone. There are quite a few, um, friends of mine in there at the moment, I really think they’d appreciate it if it turned up soon!
